Hi Everyone,
A few questions for this group. I suffer from Graves Disease and Thyroid Eye Disease which has unfortunately brought on Menopause. I'm 45, have always exercised, but have gained 15 lbs in the past yr. I know my Thyroid is the root of my problems and Menopause is now an added bonus :) - I've just started to take bio-identical hormones and hope it will help. My endo tells me to just accept the weight until my thyroid is functioning properly again. Can anyone share their experiences/feedback. Thanks Posted on 08/05/08, 09:08 pm |

Hi Sandy,
Yes, unfortunately weight gain is a big problem with a lot of women going through menopause. We need to get our hormones balanced. Stress is also a big problem as the stress hormones, like cortisol, block weight loss. Remember to love yourself, take time to relax. Walking is also a good stress reducer but you do exercise. As I've been telling everyone, there is a great FREE e-book out there that two sisters have written that is full of wonderful information. I've also started on their natural menopaused product and it is really working. Check out the book at: http://menomavens.com/downloads.html I hope this helps and blessing to you, Bobbi :)
