When I was 36 years old I had a complete hysterectomy because of severe endometriosis. Soon after I began with major depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. Have any of you experienced surgical menopause that included depression, anxiety, and/or panic attacks?

Absolutely!!!!! My panic and anxiety did not start until my after I had my hysterectomy. Its been a bumpy ride to say the least. Countless Drs, meds, tests, hospital stay......you name it, I have done it this past year.
What I find works for me is exercise, vitamins and Xanax when needed. I know there are a few of us here who have this.... :(

It's really weird that my Mom is going through menopause (without surgery) and is asking ME questions about it. She tells me how bad it is.
