i was given the cream when i went through post partum depression and it worked for me. i only used it for a little while because of all the the bad talk about it. i have not been offered anthing yet by my gyno. she basically said what is worse the sweats or the depression and anxiety and i chose the depression and anxiety. i take 25mg of zoloft right now and my symptoms have eased. I have had two major anxiety attacks but then again i was downing diet soday. my heart beat was 263 and i went into arterial fribralation. irregular heart beat in other words. keep praying only god is going to get us all through this.

I use it for the night sweats/hot flashes. It works for those. Doesn't knock them out completely but I would rather use the natural stuff less side effects.
I have always had anxiety issues so I can't blame menopause on that but it is probably contributing. Finding myself a little more depressed lately but there again can't really blame menopause - got so much junk going on in my life right now that I am sure everything is contributing to that.

I have started back on the Progesterone Cream....Progest is supposedly the best...according to Dr. Andrew Weil. I also just started a product (Amino Acid) called L-Theanine....I really like it! I helps me focus and stay calm...I take 100mg 2x day. The Vitamin Shoppe told me about it....really works...instantly but I still need something more to keep me up beat!!! Any ideas????? Anyone??? I really want to do this natural...Thanks

I took yarrow and had good results. It will reduce estrogen; i was very estrogen dominate. But I was not able to stay on it becasue of other heath and med issues. But while on it it worked nicely. The yarrow can act as a blood thinner. I took it a few days before my periods and during my periods. I have since had an hyste. Recovering well into my second week. No more pain feels wonderful. best wishes.

i used an over the counter progesterone cream. they are very weak as anything over a certain strength requires a prescription.
anyway most docs say they are too weak to be of any help, but after reading some awesome reviews on it from women who tried it I decided to go ahead. It helped me tremendously with my sleep problems, but after a while it quit helping. I guess it was not strong enough for me any more.

Hi, I have used serenity natural progestrone cream, with good results, I had a major black cloud hanging over me, so that almost disappeared. I have also been to a hypnotheropist who was really good and helped sort out my emotional upheaval associated with mood swings etc. Good luck and hope things improve for you quickly, its a weird time for so many people. Al.xx
