Has anybody received there irs rebate or heard of anyone who has got it? I had one person tell me they took taxes out of it. I thought it was tax free to help the ecomony?????????

the rebate is not going to be taxed. when you get it goes by your social security number.
people who had their tax refund direct deposited ar the only ones who have gotten any checks yet. the next batch is supposed to go out the 9th. if your social ends in a high number you may not get yours till june. also if you waed till april to file your taxes.

My son got his and it was direct-deposited into his account at last week's end. His ss# was a low last four-digit number so got his sooner. It is tax free. They're on the way!!!!!!!!

you can go to irs.gov and they have all the info on there and when you can expect it. still waiting on mine but its coming in the mail. dad and sister got theirs....and spent it! lol
