HELP!! I recently (a few months) had to have a total hysterectomy with a BSO. I'm 41 and had the surgery due to abnormal heavy bleeding. I am on the Vivelle Dot patch and some days I am OK but the bad days seem to outnumber the good. I cry, I have this feeling of impending doom or a feeling like a terrible homesickness, fatigue, and just no interest. Will this get better?? Am I having symptoms I should not be having?

It's not that there is pain with sex, it is that there is flat out no sex drive on my part. And my husband would rather see me in plesure then himself. But it just hurts me knowing I can't do things like I used to. Or don't have the drive like I used to. I have even tried some of the vitaims that are supposed to help boost a woman labedo. That is a joke!! I am glad I had the surgery I am no loner in pain that way, but this pain of not being able to make my husband happy like I used to is terrible. Somedays he is ok with it the next it is like world war three has broke out. I even took him with me to my last female exame to talk with my doctor about the changes in my body and what to expect and why. But it just hard on MY part I guess. I still feel as if we are newlyweds. We have only been married 13 years and I really should have gone through menopause this eairly in life. It really sucks...
