I have absolutely NO desire. I have been divorced for 20 yrs and have 3 kids so I don't date, not time, it's probably a good thing, because he would be very sexually frustrated.

Its something we either like to begin with love or hate........ Since going through menopause I have to make a real effort but i have a fab partner who understands, if i had my way i would rather have fish and chips and a cuppa oh strong tea rather than sex.

Yes I am having sex and enjoying it too. In fact when I am having a hormonal episode, it helps relax me. It is good therapy and good for the feel good chemicals in the brain. Go out and try it and see if it helps for the moment!!!!!

Same here! The desire just went away since I started menopause! I think that is common, along with headaches and 33 other things!! By the way, I also notice that at times my appetite for food is non-existent, especially after taking Imitrex for migraines. HOWEVER this is the BEST medicine ever for migraines! I highly recommend it (you can lose weight too!)Very expensive but it works!

We're about to celebrate our 11th anniversary and have not felt like having sex for the last 2 1/2 years...no, I DID have the urge once or twice, but that was it. Luckily,I also have a husband who is very understanding and accepting of the fact that I would much rather have my feet or back rubbed. What we do is I pleasure him, then he rubs my back or feet. He gets some satisfaction (so I don't feel guilty), and I get my aches attended to.
And we've saved a fortune on birth control!
Sorry if this isn't much help to you. Hope you and yours find a solution.

yes we are still having sex, but not with the frequency we did in out 20s.
have you had your hormone levels checked? are you under a lot of stress? do you suffer any vaginal dryness? or depression? all these things can take a bite out of your sex drive.

Hello. I have completely lost my desire through perimenopause. I dont know if it comes back but it doesnt bother me at all. There is no man so it is not as problem. I can see it could be a problem though if there were a man.
