" I've never drunk coffee but I do know with Meniere's you have to keep right away from caffine. Chocolate is a no-no too 'cos there is caffine in that as well. Maybe this time you just overdosed on it, had too much in to shorter time. "

" Hi, I have wondered about coffee. At work I love my one cup of coffee. Decaffinated would be OK but my coworkers want the caffine. It doesn't seem to affet me and I am addicted to dark chocolate. "

" NOW im starting to wonder about SALT. i had a bowl of very salty chips last nite...& 20 mins later i was sick as a dog. Im usually ok with salt but i was wondering if the chips set off the spell?..or was it coincidence?

" My husband has problems with caffeine. If he drinks a soda he will be spinning for days. He is a chocolate addict though so he asked the doctor about it since there is caffeine in it. He was told that there isn't enough in chocolate to trigger an attack as long as he doesn't go crazy and eat tons of it. "

" Its funny but i use to LOVE pepsi...now i cant tolerate it b/c it gives me wicked acid reflux.
its like my body knows its bad for me.
I was wondering what the diff is between coffee & tea as far as caffiene goes? I can tolerate tea alot better than coffee.
I also drink alot of iced tea~~ "

" Coffee seems to be the number one activator of my Meniere's. The other day I thought I could get away with Barq's rootbeer (which has caffeine in it) and I instanly felt the symptoms coming on. It is four days later and I have ringing in my ear and slight dizziness. I am patiently waiting for it to subside as it has (thank God) in the past. I am also a short course of Prednisone which makes me jittery. Caffeine is evil (to me) but, I keep drinking it! I regret it every time and how!!! "
