some symptoms sound familiar.. vertigo and dizziness. ringing in ears is another one as well as the pressure. a hoemopath has been the only one to give me relief at all. I have gone back to a completely normal life style with homeopathy!!!!! no ringing, no vertigo!!!

I was wondering if the feeling in my legs being weak and wobbly was Meniere's or something completely different. Thanks. By the way, I have been having a problem with tightness in my lower forhead for years. I asked the doctor about it but he didn't know. My ENT tells me, though, that it is probably strained eye muscles due to the Meniere's, anyone else have this problem.

I really think that you need to go to a doctor that will run test on you. There are so many different reasons that you could be having the symptoms you are having. I went through so many test before they even got me to the ENT. The ENT did numerous test to rule out other problems because just because it sounds like menieres doesn't mean that it is. It is a disease of exclusion. If its not all these other things, it must be this. There is no test for menieres. The problem with your legs, i've never felt that, but who knows. I wish you all the best but please go get some test run to make sure its not something else. Good luck!

Thanks for answering ubdiver, I did eventually have a minor stroke and the docs at the ER said the dizziness was probably a lead up to it. I am now seeing both a vascular surgeon and a neurologist. I just thought that I would let people know, because my doc took the "easy" way out and prescribed pills for something that it never was in the first place. It really does show how much we should push for answers when we are not comfortable with the ones given to us by the "professionals"

Wow,
This really boosts up the confidence in the traditional doctors doesn't it ? It is a shame bebu that you had to go through a minor stroke when it probably could have been prevented in the first place. I really don't trust any of the western medicine doctors these days as they are so quick to make assumptions and write prescriptions. Good luck to you bebu and I hope you have found competent doctors.

Symtoms similar to that of meniers however a bad neck can also be a causing that. The problem is most people with menieres have bad neck problems as well. I had similar problems with bad legs...just did not feel right when the feet touched the ground. Also the left side was off. Hard to tell if that was a stroke as well because it could have been. Loss all stamina as well way back. Take it easy, limit stress for now and go to an audiologistand ent to check your hearing

i get all of your symptoms too aas well as ringing in my ears and nausea. I've been getting several tests done andjust recently had a balance test and am awaiting the results...i haven't been diagnosed yet but everything points to this.
I constantly feel uneasy/dizzy but the vertigo bouts are a couple of times each week unfortunately...itshorrible. Do you reckon ihate menieres?

This ALL effects your autonomic nerve system - it's the small fiber (autonomic nerves) that communicate the information...
you may want to check out the neuropathy group

I think you'll find it easy to understand with all the pictures and explanations - it's a great resource.
