Getting fed up

Hi, I was diagnosed with Meniere's about 6 months ago. I feel like I am on a boat. I feel unstable and sometimes my legs feel like they are going to cave in. I cannot make quick turns, when I do I get very uncomfortable. The room does not spin nor do I have tinitus but I feel lousy. I have been on a low salt diet and am taking a diuretic and EarVite vitamins. Even when I sit I feel like I am not sitting still. Laying down seems to give me a lot of relief. Life is no fun and everything is a chore although I am working full time and trying to live normally. When I do come home from work, though, I cannot wait to get into bed. I have had this happen twice before in my lifetime but it always went away after a few months, this time it seems like I am feeling no relief. I have noticed, though, frequently in the past few years sometimes a tight feeling in my lower forehead. I have told the regular doctor but he had no explanation. My ENT says it is probably related to the strain in my eye muscles. Anyone else have this. Sorry for being so wordy, just seeking help.

" Dear Monnie, sorry that you are going through it. It is a horrible feeling and worrysome I know, try to relax and keep your head up though, believe that things will get better. I have been there and have tried many things and seen a few different doctors and therapist. I can share some things I have tried. Meclizine over the counter Bonine to be exact, the 12 hour kind, I sometimes take it before bed, it helps me sleep plus takes away some of the symptoms of wobbliness upon starting the day. I have taken it at work but it makes me sleepy so only in emergencies. 2) ginger tea and candied ginger from the super market. helps with some of the nausea if you get that too, motion sickness. 3) Excercising when possible daily even if it is just walking or if you cant gentle stretching and deep breathing 4) I saw a naturopathic doctor who gave me help with other aspects such as vitamins and minerals , reduction of stress on adrenals etc. her outlook was different than reg doctors. But I was exhausting all to find a way out of the misery. I rarely get the symptoms of off balance I used to but I was also prescribed a capsule called t-bio that has dimenhydrinate, (motion sickness drug), in it along with some herbs which I think has made a huge difference . I take it 1 capsule twice a day.as prescribed by my doctor. I have started with migraines which came later, I realized that I was constipated though and now my head pain seems to be more stress related. I now take motrin for this particularly at night when it bothers me most and try to relax. I drink lots of teas and take really good care of myself because of this disease. It made me take time out for me and for that I am thankful. I pray things get better for you rather than worse and that maybe something I used works for you. May we continue to support each other in healing and love.

Peace "

" Hi, thanks for your reply. I have tried T-Bio but it seemed to make me really sleepy so I am taking EarVite now instead. How long did it take for you symptoms to decrease? "

" Hi, sorry this has taken so long. I was asked what EarVite is, it is a vitamin that my doctor asked me to take especially formulated for ear health. The web site is www ear-mart.com. "

" Hi, strange, I was able to. Check your dashes but the phone number is 1-800-346-3326 and if you do a search for Ear-Vite you should also be able to find it. "
