Moved to the great state of GA when to a MD/specalist. I have full coverage so payment is not an issue. The MD charged Medicare 300 dollars to refer me to aNOTHER mD I called Medicare and Shared this with them no one seem to care. in fact the girl there comment to some on that was close by " ha you would think that was her(MY} money that had been spent. Had another MD charge 300 for a consoltation MD to MD chat.

I think you did the right thing to report it. to bad medicare don`t give a hoot. yet I need glasses and medicare won`t pay for them? only children, so I guess the old don`t need to see and Drs get rich on phone calls.

Get a hold of your congress person. Most have a medicare representative that they are in direct contact with. I know this because I live in GA as well and have had to use them when I needed my file. Do not stop at the one call-there is a fraud page on Medicare website as well. Good luck!
