i have tinnitus too. some days are worse than others but mostly i try to ignore it. i haven't tried any of the so called cures i see advertized in magazines. i don't see how ear drops can cure something that sounds like its in my brain!

Most people with tinnitus are sent to ear nose and throat docs, so I would be inclined to think, and have always thought that it was an inner ear problem. Hope you are feeling better soon

I call my head noise. It's more like fromthe brain. My hearing is perfect. I've had great success treating my pain and brain with NeuroCranial Restructuring (read my profile). One series of treatements actually changed the location of the 'sound' and reduced it. In my last series of treatments it dissappeared for a four days of awesome silence, but it's back. I expect more treatments to reduce or eliminiate it !!!
