I am trying to get my son 15 year old long tream tx placement and I was told that medicaid has gone federal now has of july 1st is this true???
we have been trying to get treatment for years but He is only on medicaid and they always say no funding well new law I was told passed july 1st that medicaid is no longer state it is going fully federal ???? Posted on 07/12/07, 10:07 pm |

The federal government sets the initial guidelines for Medicaid. The state must offer at least the federal Medicaid program, but most states (probably all) expand Medicaid to cover more residents. These residents must be eligible under the state's guidelines. And their benefits will be paid for with state funds.
