HAVE MD AND STILL WORKING

I am a 51yr. old female with wet and dry md. I contacted the New Jersey Commision of the Blind
and was told I had to find a job and then they would help me with the job. If you have trouble filling out the application, how can you get the job? If you tell a company you have trouble seeing, how could you get hired?
I was lucky. About 4 years ago, I landed a position as a teacher's assistant.
But I would love to go back to being a medical biller.

If there is anyone out there still working,
I would love to know what you do.

" Hmmmm, you have both wet and dry? I have the dry version and my last employment was a school bus driver ... of course I surrendered my drivers license when I began to experience the vision impairment. But actually the job was part time as I am retired, so when I gave up my license I didn't try to find employment.

What were you asking NJ for? Seems strange that they would not respond unless you were employed. Pennsylvania gave me assistance with obtaining some visual aids for which I have been very grateful. "
