has anyone ever tried these kind of pills? I am on bentyl and iam not sure if its working.. i also find if something is going on and i get all stressed out. i get a bad flare up

Hi I was on that medication 2 years ago. It did help the stomach spasms for a while. For me, I was having my episodes twice a week and the pills was 1 pill every 12 hours. The pills were used only when I was in bad pain and I started using them daily ( which the doctor said I could). At some point, the pills no longer worked for me. How long have you been using this medication? I'm scheduled to see my gastro doctor next week because I'm starting to have flair-ups at least once a week.

I was never on Bentyl but you can ask your Dr. for a tranquilizer when you get stressed out. When I know I am going to have bowel problems from stress, I find that Valium helps me relax and doesn't cause constipation. Years ago, I had relief for about 6 months with Librax, an anti spasmotic with Librium but i hated taking it every day since it could become addictive. Good luck. ((HUGS))
