does anyone else get pains in there lower left hand side and i meant right down almost into ur groin area ? is this part of my ibs ?? only cam eon this afternoon but i have had it before and on the right too ?? am really worried bout it ?

With chronic IBS u relly don't knoe=w what is going on.I know u are going thru a terrile ordeal and I e=will pray gor u. At one point I thought I would die with this dreaded disease. It rulrs your life .----ILGY

There was a time in my life I developed cysts on my ovaries and got pain in the place you described. I couldn't tell the difference from the pain from the ovaries or the pain I was getting in my bowel from IBS. One day my right side pained so bad it traveled down my leg and knocked me off my feet. Was glad I landed on the couch. I saw a doctor and he confirmed this as a cysts and said they usually dissolve on their own. It did but took a long time! I was told to take over the counter pain medication. I did and it just buffered the pain some.

Yes, I've had this too. I ususlly have this when I'm very constipated. My doctor said it's nothing to be worried about, but if the pain is up high, you might want to get aan ultrasound to make sure you don't have a gall bladder problem.

I also have this and it was not my ovaries (their gone)and i don't suffer with anxiety (can't blame that). Dr said it was ibs but i have recently been diagonised with arthritis in that hip so i suspect its both for me. Try not to worry (easier said then done, i know) ibs pains come and go all the time. Gut problems can cause/aggravate the emotions as brain chemicals are also found in the gut it's call the brain/gut connection (more info on internet).

The gut/emotion connection is so true. I was so afraid to see my critical son-in-law a past Christmas that my gut felt like someone tied it in knots. Nothing cured it until he left. Then after he left, I had an anxieth attack when I hadn't had one in 8 years. Yes it was "all in my head," but my tension goes straight to my gut. Thanks for mentioning that.

An interesting thread. I had this a lot as a younger woman. It felt like a "catch." Way too low for an ovary. Turns out I had massive endometrosis. Once all that (and plumbing) was out, pain went away.
