I had a dr. appt today and he said he is pretty sure i have PCOS. he said he is not going to test for it. I had recently done 6 rounds of clomid with no result. Now he is wanting me to do IUI. First off i think i should find out if i have PCOS. Second people on here with PCOS has IUI worked for you. Can you kind of tell me what to expect. Thank you for all of the support!!

I would definitely want to know if I have it for sure or not. My OBGYN wouldn't do a sono. but my RE did. They can see for sure if you have it or not by looking at your ovaries. I have never done IUI but I am doing IVF and I feel for you. However, I do know others with PCOS and have had great success with IUI and I know others who have done it 3 times and still aren't pregnant. PCOS varies so much form person to person. I think weight has a lot to do with it as well.

I have PCOS too, found out last year. Did three round of clomid with NO O. Then the doctor recommeded I move of to the next step, IUI. I was pretty nervous so I decided to try accupunture treatments as an alternative. I finally started ovulating after accpunture treatments for two months we tried on our own and got nothing. I finally just gave into IUI and am waiting for a period to start my first treatment. I have no advise yet but i'll keep ya posted. best wishes to you.
