I always feel guilty b/c I am the one that can't get pg. My dh tested fine. Everytime I get a BFN, I feel like I have let him down. It is definately not a fun feeling.

SOMETIMES I GET THOSE FEELINS LIKE HE WILL LEAVE ME......I MEAN EVEN IF SO IT'S UNDERSTANDABLE....BUT HAVE U EVER FELT LESS THAN A WOMAN...WELL I DO LIKE NO PERIOD AND NO BABIES

It definitely has affected our sex lives. I don't feel like I am enough because of my lack of reproduction I feel less like a women. So my DH is having to compensate for my low self esteem so that I feel like I am still wanted by him. I've been trying to fix myself up and it really helps to go on dates. Hang in there, if your DH is anything like mine he is feeling like he wants to do anything in his power to help you. I totally know what you are feeling though.

I think these feels or normal when going through this process. I have them too. I feel as though I'm letting my husband down. I have no self esteem left. it take alot out of you that's for sure. I did however read this book "the conception chronicles". I found it to be helpful with understanding more of what you're feeling and what and what your husband is going through with his feelings. It's the uncensored truth about sex, love and marriage when trying to get preg.

yah i feel like that everyday. it has really affected my self esteem!! and our relationship. just hang in there and talk with your husband so he knows how you feel. that has helped us.

I have been married for 9 yrs now and feel the same as well. I pretty much control everything that surrounds me but having a child is something that I cannot control. At one point in time I even asked my husband to leave me, I felt useless. Talk to your hubby and let him know how you feel. All we can do is keep trying and have faith that our time will come someday. Just know that you are not alone.

Sorry to hear you too are feeling like this...but you are NOT alone! For the last several months now I have not been "myself" as I say it and I HATE it. I am normally a very happy optimistic person but lately I've been so moody, depressed and YES, I feel horrible that this is MY fault (my DH is fine, its me that has the issues with getting pregnant). Even though he always tells me "this is OUR problem not yours", it still just tears me up to think that we have to go this route (IVF). All the money, time and emotionally roller coaster...sigh.... I just feel horrible and wonder how my hubby can stay so calm. He has been great. But I still feel "bad and sad" everyday:( Trying to keep positive though............my family and friends and DH are all so optimistic, it helps. You wanna go into this with a good attitude I truly think.
I start next month and am getting very anxious/excited but scared too.....where are you at right now with things???
