I know that all of us are longing to have a baby. I have a question with these hopes do you have sometimes fears from the pregnancy itself.
I really want a child of my own and I pray for it all the time, but sometimes I am afraid to actually have the pregnancy I think because all the preparations of the IUI and the IVF maybe if it was natural I would not think about it so much. What do you think? Do you have the same thoughts sometimes? Posted on 06/03/08, 05:06 pm |

Going through this process automatically puts it on your mind All the time. There is no way around thinking about it when you are planning, waiting, and hoping. It is natural to have some fears of pregnancy even without IF. That is what we are all here for, to feel support and know we are not the only ones feeling all this. If you need to talk more feel free to message me:) Good luck with your journey to motherhood:)

I went through IVF and am currently 31 weeks pregnant with triplets (multiple blessings). I was very nervous during the first trimester- fear of miscarriage due to the 20% rate for each pregnancy. Then due to being high risk, I have been fearful of making it to my scheduled c-section at 34 weeks. So, I think once you get pregnant, there are new fears that come with the territory. Then once you have the baby(ies), there are even more new fears. Life is full of fears, but have faith. God always prevails! Take care and God bless.

I am so very afraid. I want a baby more than anything, but I am so afraid of having a miscarriage, or being really sick during the pregnancy. I'm also afraid that my husband and I aren't going to be able to provide enough for him or her...
i think these are natural fears, so long as we don't let them stop us from trying to achieve these dreams.

Please don't give yourself anything more to worry about. Achieve your goal, then do everything you can to maintain your health and the health of your pregnancy. I had a very successful pregnancy after a third IUI. I had a wonderful, healthy pregnancy, and found that I actually loved being pregnant. It truly was the best time of my life. Now, I just finished a failed IVF attempt and am gearing up for try #2. Your fears are normal, but everything will take care of itself.

For me, the worry is always there just under the surface. If I get overwhelmed, I try to take a deep breath and relax. When the baby is born you start to feel a whole other sense of worry and vulnerablity, but it's so worth it in the end.
