There are a couple of things it could be.
A) - BFP - WOOHOO - ROCK ON!
B) - Evaporation Line - happens at times as the urine dries up on the stick and leaves behind a faint dye line. Doesn't necessarily mean it's not positive or negative...just inconclusive.
If I were you, I would wait and do another test with first morning urine tomorrow. Follow instructions explicitly and see what it says.

If the line showed up after 10 minutes, then it would probably be an evap line. The only way to know for sure is to do like hnelson suggested and do another test using FMU! I hope you get a BFP!

I agree. You should take a new test. The instructions in the box usually say DO NOT READ RESULTS AFTER ____ MINUTES. After a certain amount of time it is no longer accurate. I sure hope you have a BFP on the next pee stick!

Just an FYI...my sister in law took a test around the time I found out I was pregnant and took one myself. She had taken her's like the day before. And mine had a faint faint line, and I looked at her's from the day before and her's still showed nothing! Not even the evaporation line like the other girls are mentioning.
So I would definitely take another one...and first morning urine as well.
Here's praying for a BFP girly!

Well dang I'm a little disappointed then :( I HOPE I'll have a BFP tomorrow or if not, then Friday at least....it's been 2 LONG IF years, I'm due for some good news!!

I have had that happen 5 times and everytime it was a BFN if it is after 10 mins they say to retest, I have called the company and they always say never read a test after 10 mins.

I really hope its a BFP for you, however as the other ladies have said, it could be an evaporation line. Take another test and see how you go!

I really hope this is a positive for you. I would take another test to be sure. This happen to me once after I threw the stick away I saw double lines and I got all excited. I took another test and sure enough it was negative. Good luck!!!

That exact thing happened to me when I was in high school and (thank goodness) I wasn't pregnant then. However, that was like a million years ago and I think the technology has changed quite a bit.
