I had my ER today.

They retreived 11, but 9 mature enough to fertilize.

After a couple hours my RE called to suggest we put 4 eggs with my DH sperm and 5 with the donor sperm.

There is a chance of a 10th egg maturing. They are going to keep it in the incabator (sorry don't know how to spell) for a couple more hours and see if it makes it to mature stage, If it does they will put it with donor sperm.

They will call tomorrow 7/23 with how many fertilized.

Then Thursday they will call with a time for ET on 7/25.

I asked the RE if he would think about putting back in 2 of my DH's and 2 of the DS's.

He said it will all depend on the grade of the embryo's at that point.

He also explained that since we have already done IVF 2x's and know that the embryo's with my DH's sperm were grade C and D's, that using donor sperm this time along with my DH's we will know if there might be an egg issue as well. I have miscarried with the embryo with my DH sperm and i have miscarried after an IUI with donor sperm. So if the donor embryo's are C and D's grade also then that confirms my eggs are a quality issue not just my DH's sperm. If the donor sperms embryo's are grade A or B's then we will know that my DH's sperm is the only quality issue in the mix.

RE said my eggs are the control part and the 2 different sperms are the variable in the equation. So we will learn more by Friday what's going on.
