" The active ingredient in Robitussin is Guifesen(sp?) which actually thins out your mucus----like if you have a chest cold---so it helps to thin out CM as well. Which can help the swimmers get to the egg. Make sure if you take it that you drink a lot of water or it could dry you out. Women take baby aspirin to help with many different things including implantation. It also helps with clotting disorders. Many people believe that it helps to prevent m/c because it helps to prevent tiny blood clots from forming and entering the umbilical cord. My OB had me start taking it AFTER my pregnancy was well established---I was about 9 weeks. She had me start because my son Gavin was stillborn with no known cause. I am now almost 28 weeks pregnant and I will take the baby aspirin almost until delivery. I personally would not take baby aspirin unless I got the OK from my OB. Aspirin is a blood thinner so it might not be good for some women---that being said I know many women who take it on their own and have no problems.

I never tried the Robitussin thing but I know many women who have tried it and have had success.

Good luck!!!!!! "
