Quick question. Do you get cramping with implantation bleeding? Is that why it can resemble your period?

" Sometimes, yes, from what I understand. Plus, I just talked to a gal a couple days ago that was actually 18 wks along before she found out she was PG!!! She really didn't think she was, because she had been having regular periods, and was even on BCP. So yeah, I think just about anything can happen! I honestly don't know why they even have "textbook" pregnancies and periods. Everyone is so different! Sheesh.

I just had a blood test on Thursday after having a very short AF with cramps (3 days total)....and still waiting to hear my results. So hang in there. You never know!! I hope it means good things for both of us!!! "

" I didn't have cramping with mine. I was just in the habit of checking my cervix...so when I pulled out a finger w/blood I thought for sure AF was here...but she wasn't... "

" I don't know first hand, but I believe both can go hand-in-hand. Many women have noted they have cramping and bleeding that turns out to be implantation and not AF. "

" I did have cramping along with bleeding that lasted for a week. While I was not in the "norm" for this the cramping was on either side of my ovaries...but more up to the belly button vicinity if I can describe the location accurately enough. I thought FORSURE I was not pregnant b/c of the amount and length of the bleeding. Low and behold I was thankfully wrong! Good luck to you! "
