I'm so scared!!! When I went in to my doc's office yesterday to pick up some stuff and ask a few questions, she said she would like to do a blood test to see for sure if I'm PG or not. But it is about $77 for the blood draw and test, and we just can't afford that right now. (pretty sad, I know...) So when I told them that, the gal I was talking to put me on hold (after I left the office they called back with the doc's answers), and went to tell my doc everything, I guess. So when she came back on the line, she said that since we have been trying for SOOO long, my doctor is actually going to cover the test her self!!! As a treat for me!!!! O-M-G!!!! I started crying right then, and I was in the grocery store!! I am still just amazed that she would do that. I've always known my doctor was a gift from God, but I can't express how awed I am by this!! How many doctors do you know that would do something like that for their patient??? WOW.
Anyway, I am terrified to find out. I know I'm going to cry no matter what the results are!! This feels so emotional!!! I want so badly to get a possitive result....but I am scared that it is going to be negative! Please be praying for me.....my appointment is set for 10:30....and for me here in WA, that is just over an hour more to wait!!! Holy cow, the stress is killing me! Well, I went in and had the blood drawn. It went fine, but I was totally emotional! I was on the verge of tears anyway, so when one of the ladies in the lab asked me if we'd been trying long, I welled up. Then another lady there said that she had been on BC and took it religiously every day at 7am. When she went in to her yearly check up, her doctor said something was wrong (and she was "down there" as she said that). She asked, "did you know you are pregnant?" and the gal couldn't believe it. She thought there was no way....she had been having her AF regular...and yet the doc informed her that she was 18 weeks!!!! Crazy.
So anyway, as for me, they won't get the results back until tomorrow. And since they are only open Mon -Thurs, my doc is going to take my file home, and give me a call tomorrow as soon as she gets the results back!! I was really hoping I could hear something today, but I guess I have no choice but to wait! I really do hate waiting for something like this!!! Argh. But at least I don't have to wait the whole weekend! Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts for me. I am feeling super emotional right now, and really appreciate the support! I will try to post as soon as I hear back from her. Especially if it is POSITIVE!!! But I can't get my hopes up too much right now....it's too hard. So here's to hoping and my fingers are crossed!!!!!!

Well, it is after 3pm here, and STILL no phone call. I am going crazy, I swear!! I just want an answer already! I'm really nervous that my doc maybe just called our home number instead of my cell phone...and I don't know how to check messages away from home to find out!!! This is really wearing on my nerves. LOL I'm really just praying that if she DID try our home number, then she will also try my cell. She has my file with her, so I know she has that number as well. AAAAHHHHH!!!!
