Hysteroscopy

I just got back from having a sonohystogram (which I must say was rather unpleasant). Anyway, I have to have a hysteroscopy to remove an endometrial polyp. Has anyone else had this done? My poor defective uterus...can't grow a baby in it, but fibroids and polyps have no problem moving in and making themselves at home.

" Thanks! Considering that I'm apparently prone to fibroids and polyps, I almost feel like I'm wasting my time since they will most likely just grow back again :-( I am thankful he didn't say I needed a laparoscopy. "

" I've had poylps removed from my uterus on 2 different occasions and it was not bad. They put you under but you are out the same day. I felt fine by the time I got home but rested as they recommended. I was back at work the next day after both procedures. "
