Bed Rest After Transfer

How many days has your doctor told you to go on bed rest after the transfer? My doctor said only 1 day, but I am reading others that say 3-5 days.

" My RE suggests 3 days in bed, then after that, just take it easy, and no lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk. "

" mine suggest 24-48 hours but after that nothing strenuous. circulation is important at that time as well so he doesn't agree with much longer than that. "

" Mine recommended the day of ET and the day after (not bed rest, just lounging on the couch/sofa is fine, only get up to go to the bathroom, etc). But I took an additional day off plus I had the weekend, I just didn't want to risk anything after everything we'd been through to get there. "

" Mine says 24 hrs after transfer to rest (either bed or couch) after that light activity. He ok'd me going back to work after 24 hrs, but I "drive" a desk, so that is non-strenous. "

" Mine says you can resume normal activity right after the transfer but I have read enough on here from everyone that I think rest for a few days is a good idea. I am not taking any chances. Depending on when my ET takes place I will rest probably from 2-4 days at least. If I get a BFN I want to know I did everything I could and not beat myself up over anything. "
