I've tried acupuncture off and on for a little over a year. I think it's a really relaxing experience, and I do believe (though I haven't been successful in getting pg) it is beneficial.

I did acupuncture 1 hour b4 and 1 hour after ET, this was recommended by my RE's office.

I think it's a good idea to work with someone who specializes in acupuncture for fertility. You can get a referral list of acupuncturinsts who are trained specifically in IF by contacting the folks at http://www.thefertilesoul.com/

I am doing Acupuncture! I did a session on 12/1 and when I got home a couple of hours later I got a +OPK. I am in the 2ww to see if anything happened! If not I have 9 more sessions!

I did and got a BFP - don't know if it helped or not, but I am still going! I would try to find someone who specializes in fertility.

I haven't had a positive with it yet, but either way I really enjoy it. It is really relaxing for me and helps with my stress level.

I go twice a week and this month I had my best AFC, they got 13 eggs and 10 were mature enough to fertilize. I try to eat well, do yoga, etc but I think the acup. really helps. It is definitely relaxing. I have ET tomorrow and hopefully this will help me get my BFP!

There were several women on here who stated they felt the acupuncture is what helped them get pregnant the first IVF cycle. I decided it couldn't hurt. I went three or four times to an acupunturist who specialized in IF and on my first IVF, I got a BFP. I'm not sure if it really was the acupuncture, but the relaxation always can help.

I have gone twice but haven't yet started my IVF cycle. I think it will help though. They take a full medical history which was quite a surprise to me. Make sure you tell them all of your ailments because they can help with everything. They also need to know your schedule, whether you are doing IVF or something else, because they will do the acupuncture around what will be most beneficial for a pregnancy...if that makes sense :o)

We did a total of 6 IVFs and the only time I did acupuncture was with the last...and it worked! I did 12 weekly treatments before transfer day. I'm a believer!

We have been TTC for 8 years and had had no luck at all. We had done 3 IUI's with clomid and still no luck. I finally decided with the 4th IUI that I was going to do acupuncture and we got our very 1st bfp. Unforunately it ended in m/c. I am a firm believer and plan to do it again after the 1st of the year.
