Lorelei would have been 8 months yesterday. It has been 9 days since she passed. I am trying to make steps forward.
My daughter came over on 10-4 to visit. It was so sad. The first thing she did was fall in my arms saying she wanted her baby back.

I would have talked less and listened more.
I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded.
I would have eaten popcorn in the "good" living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.

Avon has teamed up with reserchers to do a study on all women for breast cancer to help find a cure. They believe a vaccination is not far off!!
They have a web site looking fo volenteers it is armyofwomen.org
Check it out! they are looking for 1 million women to enroll. I enrolled and awiting them to send me more information.

Today is the 5th day without our Lorelei. It really hit me hard today. You know after a major loss in your life the first day or so is a fog. Your trying to help take care of business keep busy so you dont have to think. But sooner or later it hits you. I wanted so so much to be a grand mother! Ok its been two days since I have lost my grand daughter. I must remove her picture from here looking at any picture of her now brings to much pain. I took all her pictures down except one and hung in a spare bedroom. I have also some of her little cloths and a wind chime she like to grab and play with.

My friends Lorelei our sweet baby girl has passed to God today. She died in her mothers and fathers arms peacefully.
She will never have to hurt again.
My heart is beyond breaking. I have lost my only grand daughter and the sweetest little angel in the world.
How will I go on? I do not know. I do not know.

First thanks to all my friends that have sent there support for Lorelie. Your support and prayers are working.
Lorelei has been in intensive care since 9-20. She is on a breathing tube and yesterday we were really thinking she was going to leave us. However when we meet with the doctors they are still holding us out some hope. And we will grab on to that. It seems in one lu...1 Recommendation3 Comments -

Yesterday 9-20 at about 4pm my little angel grand daugther Lorelei stopped breathing. She had what the doctors thought the stomach flu. She was taken to the emergency room and needles put in her dear little arms a cathature use to collect urine and all her vitals monitored.
