" I haven't really participated here, but this is exactly why I just "dropped in". My daughter went through a phase, from 2-4, she seemed to get some balance, but now it's back. She's 6, and she's constantly falling, tripping, etc. I'm concerned.
She's also got this thing about laying around. If she's eating, she's laying. If she's in the bathtub, she's laying. If she's getting dressed, she's laying. I get frustrated, and I'll make her get up. She acts like I've just asked her to chop off her right leg! I'm very worried, and I'm not sure what to do. I'm thinking we may need to see a doc about it, but I don't want to seem paranoid. Any thoughts? "

" My Tyler also lays down often. He puts his head down on the table in the middle of eating a meal or just suddenly lay down right in the middle of playing. From what I have read and been told, they have to work so hard to control those muscles that they do get tired. I try to remember that when I am frustrated with him. I would certainly discuss it with your doctor too, just to put your mind at ease. "

" I was VERY clumsy when I was young. When I learnd how to walk I was always falling and at the time mom and I did not live in a place with alot of grass. It took me time before I could learn how to run.

The thing to say is remeber Hypotona afects everything, balance is one of them. Don't worry in time this did pass. "
