Discussion:
Synthroid vs. Armour

The more I read about Armour the more irritated I get that my doctor won't even discuss it with me. I get my blood checked every 6 mos, and the numbers are ok. However, since taking synthroid I can't lose weight, am constantly hungry, am tired, my hair has totally changed (dry and dull), my skin is thin and dry. Has anyone noticed side effect improvements on Armour? (I'm looking for a new doctor) What are the disadvantages?

" Hi,
I take triiodothyronine (T3) 85mcg once a day for my hypothyroidism. I have a lot of energy, brain fog is almost gone. Maybe you can find a doctor that will correctly treat you?
Take care,
Jon "
