I am new to your group and want to say Ive had thyroid trouble for 24 yrs. now. Hypothryoidism is my body's choice... The last 3 yrs. or so my endocrynologist says my numbers keep changing and so does my dose of meds... Wondering if being on generic synthroid is one of the reasons...

i've had a thyroid problem since i was about 7 years old. i've heard if you're on synthroid to stay on that & try not to switch. it'll cause your thyroid to be off.also, do you have your blood taken every 6 months or a year? my stepsister couldn't get her thyroid to be normal. also, this disease runs on my mom's side of the family. i would like to be some help to you
