I was just told that I have autoimmune thyroid disease - but my thryroid is working fine so I should not have any symptoms. The probelm is that I have almost every hypothyroid symptom!! Anyone else have this? Thank you.

No. I have most of the symptoms and have to do the meds or else!! Thyroid can be dangerous. Keep an eye on it.

i have all the symptoms too and waiting to get sum blood work done. i was told i have hashimoto thyroid disease. apparently its where you have really high antibody levels and as a result you can develop hypothyroidism. i woul ddeinately get a second opinion and keep an eye on things

I have had hypothyroiodism for 13 years and the med I am taking works fine. At that time I went to all the way to try to find a cause. Including Cat scam, staying the hospital for a week and did all the lab work . At the end. My doctor gave me a diagonos: unknown autoimmune hypothyrodism.
