Is anyone still really cold even though on meds

Hi, I have been on thyroid medication for nearly 12 months now, and I still feel the cold something shocking. The other day, i had 2 spencers on, one of them a thermal spencer, plus a long sleeve shirt, and my sister had a t-shirt on! Does anyone else still feel the cold like this, even though their thyroid levels are now 'normal'? Will it ever get better or am I stuck with it for ever?

" I have been on levothroid for 1.5 years and still get cold. Everyone in my family knows that I'm always freezing. If anything it saves on the a/c bill. Just plan on always having warm clothes and toting a sweater with you everywhere you go. "

" Ive had mine all my life (Congenital Hypothyroidism) i always been colder than everyone else. Even when my meds are right i tend to feel any tiny breeze. In winter my hands and feet are usually blue most of the time.

Only time i tend to feel a bit warmer is when i have my monthlies my body temp must go up slightly with the hormone levels changing, but i very rarely break into a sweat! "

" Afraid this is not advice as such, but it is such a relief to read of other people experiencing the same problems. I was beginning to think I was maybe going a bit mad, as I am always feeling cold when everyone else is peeling off their clothes because they are too warm! "
