I have "suspicious" cells in my Fine Needle Biopsy results. Now both DRs suggest I have at least 1/2 of my thyroid removed. I wonder if anyone has any advice one way or the other? I have Hashimoto's and am hypo. Research on the internet says varying things about the likelihood of one with Hashimoto's having cancer. I have time to think about his but am very curious about potential long term problems of living with out a thyroid vs living with a diseased one!
