Go online and check out the International Uticaria Society...they have a MOST awesome chat group and so much information. I have autoimmune uticaria and find that site the most helpful and supportive of all of them

I saw an Allergy specialist who told me that he has been very interested in IV Immunoglobulin to treat Hives,warning that this treatment is still experimental. I had bloodwork yesterday morning...ruling out an autoimmune cause.

my doc also says the problem is auto-immune. nobody knows what causes it. i have been on every drug and only prednisone seems to work.
if your immune system is overactive, instead of protecting you it basically attacks your body. kind of like lupis. i have been trying accupuncture and chinese herbs, i let you know how it works out.
