Over the past few months I have tried a number of different prescriptions for hives. THe first two I went through were only temporary so the hives only subsided while I was on the medication. Then came back as soon as I went off it. I cant stay on this certain medication because it leads to long term problems such as diabetes etc. I've reduced things I put on my skin to a minimum but I havent pinpointed what causes the hives. I was reading up on herbal remedies such as Utritec, but I know nothing about the herbs they talk about. Does anyone know if these herbal pills actually work?

I haven't tried that yet but have had some relief from "Hyland's homeopathic Hive tablets." I also have found Aveeno oatmeal bath treatment helps along with their itch lotion or Gold Bond Extra Strenth body lotion. I don't get hives as bad if I moisturize after showering. I hope some of this helps.
