I have started in taking Lipitor20mg 2 week prior to this post, i feeling like i have no energy, i feel weak with no power.
My cholestrol 2 weeks back was 307, after reading all the article on the web and this site.

I have a Question is it possible that i should eat lipitor for 2 month and bring down cholestrol to normal range and then stop lipitor and then try my best work on diet/excercie and supplements like fish oil and cholestrol off?

Has any one tried this?

" I don't know if what either of us is doing the right thing. Recently I was changed from 40 mg per day to 80 mg per day. So far so good. I have been taking lipitor for 2 years, since October 2006. I am actually afraid because of all the things I've read regarding it's negative side effects. My PA also warned that if I have any of the side effects to stop taking it. I would rather learn how to deal with all the cloresterol, triglycerides, etc naturally, no drugs! Do you have any ideas? "

" Hey Buddy

The only way you can do this is change you life style completly -- non fat food and excercise, if you can do this on regular basis you r done 99.9% case this bring the cholestrol down. If you r a busy man then continue taking lipitor.
Honestly this was adviced by my Doctor. "

" I was on Zocor for qiute a few years, because of side effects changed to Lipitor, was on that a few years, it caused bad nightmares. Then was put on Zetia a couple years ago. 6 months ago I just quit taking it and started taking Red Yeast Rice without my doctor knowing, she knows I'm taking the RYR but does not know I went off the Zetia. I will find out next month when I have blood work whether I'm in trouble or not! "
