I have similar headaches. I can feel my temp rising, my face is flushed and I can feel/hear my heart pounding in my ears. Even though I suffer from High BP my headaches are a symptom of my MS. Perhaps your doc can prescribe you something for yours.

I dont get headaches terribly much, a bit though - but mainly when the bp is up my face gets very flushed and I feel unsteady, and yes, I can feel my heart pounding.....but I can usually get it down with medication...

Yes, I mentioned it to mu doctor once and he said that it doesn't happen. I would like him to walk in my shoes because I KNOW it does. BTW I have not mentioned it since even though it happens when the BP in on the upward climb.

I do find that doctors, without exception, say there are no symptoms with elevanted blood pressure - I KNOW THERE IS...lol
SLAPPPPPPPPPPP - but I just let them have there own way now - when they get it they will realise as well....have had a really bad headache this morning...! the new tabs I think though...

When I get headaches I also hear my heart beat. It's weird, isn't it? I know if I wake up with a headache and check my BP it is always high. I wish Dr would listen to us more, we know our bodies better than anybody!!!

Hello, I'm new to the group! I also get those headaches from time to time and I can hear my heart beat in my ears. I usually just start talking myself down, and breathing deeply. It helps sometimes. I also get tension headaches and sinus headaches a lot now and I'm wondering if that is attributed to my High BP or perimenopause.
