" I stop using added salt in all of my food now for about two years. There is so much sodium in food already. I use Mrs. Dash to increase flavor. I like the tomato, basil and garlic style. I heard garlic pills work but I'm not sure. I was toldd ginger tea helps. I drink a cup every night. I don't take blood pressure medicine any more. "

" Thanks for the interesting tips.

I hardly use salt these days apart from what comes in ready proccess foods. I know now that I have stopped taking the pills 2 days ago it will be a matter of time before it goes sky high. I'm very worried about it and as not seeing GP until tomorrow have to look at all options. "

" I eat alot of organic foods,onions,garlic,beets..ect.
CALCIUM!!!!!

Potassium:
help maintain blood pressure.
Magnesium:
relaxs blood vessels and allows the blood to flow easier.
vit.C
expands blood vessels and constricted arteries, helping tolower bp.
Omaega 3:
in salmon, helps circulation, makes the blood un-likely to clump and form clots, that may cause heart attacks.
FLAXSEED oil:
seems to be inhibiting the inflammation that causes artery plaque and poor circulation, thus helping againest high blood pressure.
GARLIC:
has been the subject of several clinical studies and its ability to "DRASTICALLY" LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE.
I was on High blood pressure meds for 10 years,my blood pressure was as high as 240/115 and it is now 132/82,very close to normal.I know calcium and a no-salt diet WORKS!!!HOPE this helps.Hugs and Prayers,Lisa "
