Today I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done. everything went fine and I felt ok aftewards. but.. now i feel nauses, and bloated and im haveing chest pain. I dont know if its nervs or something else. Now its saturday morning and the Dr's office is closed. does anyone have any advise?

Also I am only 28. What is the average age range for a Haital Hernia? The dr is suprised I have one at 28.

i think you should see if your doctor has someone on call. and check with them. or an advice nurse..probably gas but it is better to be safe... how do you feel today? let us know how you are doing.good luck..as far as age for a hernia... i dont think their is an average age . i have known people of all ages with them...

I have one and I'm only 26 (was told about it at 25). I wish I knew how long I've had it and where the heck it came from!
I've heard about babies being born with it too. It seems like there is no age, just anyone, anytime.

I'm 21 and found out I have one. Mine is from my stomach not emptying like it should so the food backs up into my diaphram and caused it. Now I'm still searching for why that is, but I would assume age doesn't matter since its can be caused by different things.

i had a lot of problems after my endoscopy felt worse than before very bloated etc, it did last for quite a few weeks after as well, and to be honest i still feel like it did make things worse overall even now nearly a year later, but im glad i had it done so that now i dont feel crazy cause i know what it is a hiatus hernia, i am also 26 and think iv had it for at least 8 years"!!!
