Hi. I am new to all this...I'm not quite sure how it all works. Basically I wanted to find a place where I could talk to people who are going through what I am going through now. I am a heroin addict but I have now been clean for 2 full weeks. I started and gave up with my best friend...I am struggling on but I have since learnt that he is using again. I don't know what to do as I know he is getting help but I feel that I should be the one doing it....I just don't feel strong enough to be around that now...
I only stopped taking methodone a week ago and am currently on controlled valium to try to help me sleep (which is not working) I don't really have anyone to talk to becuase my friends who know about my problems have not been through it themselves and it is impossible to explain to someone exactly how you are feeling and what you are going through.... This post may be completely disregarded but I hope there is someone out there who can lend me an understanding ear.....I'm feeling very very lost and alone Posted on 06/25/08, 05:06 pm |

been sober awhile, shoot dope for a long awhile!! Get off the valium for one. These stupid doctors!! Take drugs to get off drugs? Nah, Withdrawls suck! There suppose to!! =D Not sleeping sucks!!! It will get better! Drink TONS of water, run, vitamins!! And lose the friend, misery LOVES company! Ill be 100% honest life is going to suck for awhile, but it gets sooo much better! I dont know what your habit was, but i would go though withdrawls with in 12-16 hours of not useing. But i was also doing over a gram aday. Everyday your body is healing!! Give it a good 90 days and life will kick ass!
