Hi It is my understanding that it stays in your system for three days. But I would imagine it would also depend on how much you use. My dear child if you want to keeep your daughter you really need to get clean and stay that way. No one can make you do this. But maybe it would be better for your daughter if someone in your family took over guardenship.
if you are having a difficult time staying clean. Think about how this is effecting her. I know how it has been effecting my grandchildren. We took over guardinship so we could protect them . A swab test is NOTHING. you can pass that easily, you just use a certain mouthwash, or any mouthwash really, right before you are due to take the swab...my boyfriend passed this test with weed, and im pretty sure that it works with everything, my boyfriend is a heroin addict and knows all the loop holes hope this helps :) good luck i hope you get clean and you get to keep your daughter.

i get swaped tested twice a week tues n fri because they have to leave it 3 days apart it does only take 3 days but leavuing it 4 will garuntee a naegative and no mouth wash will help i know about the 3 days because its part ov my liecence conditions to be tested 2 times a week if i was to use fri it would be clear by th tues gaurenteed as i am talkin frm experience but really best thing to do is not use but its not as easy as that every one has lapses and no effence but gwavie talking about giving gaurdianship has oviusly never bin an addict other wise comments wouldnt be made like that but she oviusly has had someone close who has and is entilted to her opion dont let ppl put u down for havin a lapse coz it will only turn into a relapse and it doesnt make u a bad mum either if u wer that bad u would not av ur daughter so keep ur chin up its 3days 4 if u av used a lot hope things go ok for u ....

If ur having trouble staying clean it probably IS a good idea to give guardianship to a close family member who can take better care of the child.No heroin addict is capable of giving a child what they need fully. You might have the best intentions but the drug prevents you from giving the love and care a child needs. as for the poart about not being a bad parent or else they wouldnt have custody of the child.. thats crap. Ive seen tweaker moms with 4 kids crying all over the house while the mom is getting high locked in her nedroom. Im not trying to compare anybody to this but it just goes to show that the worst poarents can keep the kids if noone steps in.

If you are trying to get clean, good for you but until you get it right dont be selfish by thinking youre being a good parent. you might be, but if ur doing heroin you should not have your child. straight up. You can give your child everthing in the world but if youre getting high you cant give them the most important thing of all. YOURSELF. Hope everything turns out great and keep fighting because if u REALLY want to kick heroin,, it will happen.Do it for your daughter, she deserves it. GET CLEAN.. ITS WORTH IT

ive been where you are. my cousin is going through this. give away guardianship so they cannot take away your daughter. get clean.

i had to lose alot to get clean.. so im sorry if this sounds blunt but its the truth... obviously the THREAT of losing your child isnt enough for you to stop.. will your bottom be when shes actually gone?

Well, heroin usually stays in your' system for 3 days.It's the shit that's mixed in with that you have to worry about,so you can never really tell.My advice, other than drinking alot of water or going out and spending a ton of money on some product thatpromises to give you a clean urine, just suck it up,take the swab, and know that you did this to yourself. It's not the end of the world.Learn from your' mistake. Choose one or the other. Aint no use of being on methadone if you're still gonna use. I,ve been their and done that.Take it from someone that knows,me, being on methadone for 13 years.

I lost my little girl the same way. She will be 9 in a few days & I have not seen her in about 8 years. She is with family too. Her fathers sister (her aunt) He od'd & died 2 years ago, I have been clean for over 2 years & beg her aunt for a picture, a letter, anything but get no response. I was a lousy junky who wanted to stick a needle in her arm more than be a mom so I got what I deserved in their eyes. You my dear are only cheating yourself & your little girl..
PLEASE PLEASE do not lose her, I nearly killed myself after I lost Elise. I lost everything that made me human for many years to be a junky & crack whore. I am honest~ I will not be mean to you but I will not lie to you either.
I do not look like what I am/was to the outside world but I know inside everyday what I did & no amount of clean time or good deeds can purge my soul of the guilt & hurt I feel for losing my own flesh & blood to use drugs.
Just you asking proves you got what it takes to beat this shit.
BTW: Heroin is in your system for 3-5 days AFTER your last use. So, take the last time you used & count 3-5 days ahead. Nothing beats a swabby..They are going to be using hair tests soon that get it down to the hour of the last drug use..*shudders*
