Well guys been a while since i posted I really need some answers so if anyone has them please share. I am now on my 8TH month of recovery off treatment. I have been unable to go to the doc to get my blood work for about 4 months now, because my insurance ran out. Well i am back working an my insurance should kick in next month so I can go. But for now I am freaking out a little bit here. I am feeling pains again in the liver area also my aches an Back pains are still pretty severe some days it worries me, DID I REALLY BEAT IT? i mean i got 8 months of bloodwork back that said I did because i went undetectable after my first month of treatment, and although i feel much better because i am off treatment Lately i have been noticing things like the pain in my liver area an intense back pain , an fatigue that makes me wonder Did I really beat it? Am I going to go to the doctor next month with my shiny new insurance an discover that I am right Back fighting this monster. I'm scared NO IM TERRIFIED that I am still sick, an I sit here making myself a little crazy thinking well maybe i didn't beat it an If thats the case what am I going to do? I CANNOT go through that treatment again I WONT survive it! and I just cant put my family through that again. HAS ANYONE HERE DONE TREATMENT, BEAT IT AN THEN THE MONSTER RETURNED AN IF SO DID UOU FEEL ANY SYMPTOMS? please any answers would really help me now. And for those of you who dont have any answers just your prayer s an words of support would mean the WORLD to me right now.

" All I know is that it is standard procedure to check for viral load at 6 months after tx has stopped. If your vl is 0, that usually means you've beat it. It doesn't sound like you had that done. If I were you I would rush to the doc and demand a blood test. The doc should have told you that. Then you will know rather than panicking. I hope this helped. Good luck, good health, and lots of happiness to you! "

" in one month you will have some real answers with a blood test and insurance. when i feel like you, crazy and fearful, sometimes it helps to surrender. Remember, this too, shall pass. instead of thinking negatively about your future test, try to visualize a positive result. remember you were unde from your first month on and try to hold on to that. you are in my prayers. " Most definitely get your blood test when your ins allows it and go from there. Crazy thoughts are part of this whole process and you are not alone in this. I do agree with Darrylk about trying to imagine positive results rather than negative. It's not easy to change your mind-set but you can do it and it can help calm you.

As far as your side and back pain, do you still have a gallbladder? That type of pain can be from several things: musculoskeletal strains or an unruly gallbladder...all of which are readily treatable. So, please try not to worry and focus on getting your ducks in order for your blood test and have your pains checked out.

Best of luck!! "

" Jaz, stress can do all kinds of crazy things to our bodies. Easy to say, hard to do, but try and relax. Before you know it, time will have past and you will be able to go get that blood work.

Nothing but best wishes and happy thoughts for ya,

Larry "
