" I take vicoprofen which is a combo of vicodin and ibroprofen (can't spell). I would ask your Dr. I'm pretty sure that the stage of the liver determines what you are able to take. Good luck 999999 "

" RA is rhuematoid arthritis. I do take advil per my doc it is okay, I am just limited to 2mg per 24 hour period. But I have never needed to take more then that amount ever.
Pretty much all people here on treatment do the once a week shot and the daily ribiviran, so feel free to ask any other questions you might have. I hope you are relatively side free! Make sure you are drinking your water-it is a big deal as it helps to flush out the toxins from the meds.
Take Care, and Keep in touch!
Barbara "

" You should always check with your doctor. My doctor lets me take tylenol because it isn't a blood thinner like advil. He says they are all ok if you do not take over the recommended dosage. It is when you are taking to many to often when you can start hurting your liver. I actually had a niece that got a peptic ulcer in here stomoch from taking to mush tylenol. Less is better. I never take tylonol every day or more than twice a day which is below the recommendatins on the bottle. "

" As always, check with your own md. But for me-my md recommended limited tylenol. He told me to eat something with it and it would be ok. When i could not break my temp last week he told me to take advil and alternate with tylenol until fever broke. I suppose as long as either are taken in moderation it will be fine. Beth "

" I'm no expert, but my docs as well as the people and doc in my support group at the Lahey say absolutely no ibuprophen. I'm told Tylenol (under 2000 mg per day) is OK. But definitely ask your doc. "
