" Hi ... I cant give you any more advise. but I can tell you I had them all thu tx, and afterwards too.I gargled non stop , and then I bought this stuff, its Chlorhexidine Gluconate oral rinse..You might have to ask a doctor about it before useing, but it did help me get rid of them..It was a prescription.. Good luck , I know how awful it is.. "

" I did have mouth ulcers and the only thing that got rid of them were troches. It is a prescription from the doc that you let dissolve in your mouth 5 times a day. I know xactly how u feel. It was awful having the sores!! Hope it works for u:) "

" Yes I get mouth ulcers. I had them at the start of treatment, and then they went away up till about I hit the mid-point on my treatment. Increasing the number of times I brush my teeth a day, and using a germ-killing mouth wash helps them go away. We get prone to them because treatment lowers our body's ability to resist bacteria and our mouths are full of bacteria, as you probably know. "

" Yes, right now I have a little painful sore, like a cold sore on the side of my lip. Switching to natural Uncle Tom's toothpaste helped, using a bit of polysporin if outside mouth, and rinsing salt water really helps.
also, are you taking a good mulit-vitamin?
Hugs. "

" I did have a canker sore on the side of my tongue that was painful for a few days. I did go buy some biotene mouth wash. It helps along with Oraje mouth wash. I knew about the biotene from taking care of my stepfather with lung cancer. He would get the sores from chemo...so it does help and things heal up quicker. "

" I am not on tx but I currently have 2 in my mouth. I usually get them after eating very citrusy food like oranges or after eating nuts. Not sure what I ate this time to bring it on. "
