Well, the time has finally come.I have just been notifies that my prescriptions for Peg and Riba will be delivered to my house on tuesday the 8th.
I have an appt. on Thurs. the 10th for my first shot and all that goes with it. I would be lying to you guys if i said I was not scared.Not so much from the shots, but the side effects.I have COPD and some depression, however I am well medicated for both.My Hep. Doc. says this could irritate both depression and COPD. I would like to ask that if you pray, please just send a 'lil one up for me to be a responder. I want to get rid of this dragon. I have been coming here to DS for awhile now and made some really special,good people.Mostly just asking questions and chit chat. I do know that through our hep c family it will be alot better for me. I have learned so much from you guys.I want to take the time to thank each and everyone of you. Let me go ahead and apologize, I don't know that I won't be a lil cranky at times.I know that I need you guys now more than ever. Hi Rudytrue, You will be in my prayers. I am a newbie-took shot #4 on Tuesday. I can honestly say, the waiting and working up to the first shot was the worst part. I was a nervous ninny by the time I got my rx, all for not. I think drinking plenty of water really helps. Great information I got here on DS. I only have mild muscle aches which are helped by taking tylenol. I have run a low grade fever a few days after my shots. Just enough to feel pekid. Overall, I can't complain. There are others with worse sides. Keep positive, drink your water, and get rest when your body tells you to!

Best wishes on your journey on tx dear. I am glad u found this site prior to starting tx. DS has been my lifeline during tx and the advice you get here...well lets say this...keep the good and throw away the bad.

Rudy your gonna be fine The hardest part for me was waiting..nothing is upbearbale yet I do have to insist on this. you have a beautiful smile..stay upbeat and positive...do whatever you have to to stay that way. it i the secret of managing this thing. I will definilty pray for you yet you do so as well...my faith has gotten me this far. I came up with o viral load after only four shots......your gonna do great and Im expecting just as great news for you. Diane

Hi Sweetie, I know it is a scary time for you but we are all with you. I don't know what to tell about tx because I am not there you have to listen to others. I am right behind ya girl, in more ways than one. Isn't this the bestest place in the whole wide world! The suport, the knowledge, the friendship...the everything!!! I will pray for you that your side effects are minimal and that you are a responder as well! And that cranky stuff...don't you worry...we all have our bad days I'm sure! Just keep your chin up and remember you've got us here and good suport at home too!Right! I go in to learn how to give the shots on April 9th. so I'll be going through this with ya...all the way!
