Found out I am Genotype 1. Found out my kidney functions are better but my liver function levels are rising. The doc referred me for a biopsy & after the biopsy we will decided whether to proceed with treatment.
The doc thinks the HEPC may have affected my joints because I have so much joint pain. She ran tests on that today.

" Maybe ask your doctor if you can have a test for cryogobolamenia(I think I spelled it right) It is extremely common with HEP C. MY joints also hurt. I had other symptoms, but it may be important to check it out (a simple blood test). "

" Good to hear your kidneys improved. Always nice to hear positive news. I pray your biopsy will allow you the chance with TX and a safe journey through it. "

" Hi, friend. Good news about your kidneys! Best of luck with the biopsy, it will be over soon, then you'll have direction. I hope they can do something about the joint pain. Hang in there, Hugs & prayers, Skeeter "

" If you have hep c its probably always best to do treatment. It lingers in your body and gets your liver if you dont I remember hoping the Dr would somehow say you dont have to do treatment but when you have hepc you should try to get rid of it. I hat it but Im doing it "

" Now that's good news.
Hoping biopsy reveal no damage or minimal damage so you qualify for tx.
