Unfortunately once you get Hep B it is chronic. In the beginning, you do get very tired but it will pass. Take Vit B capsules to take away the yellow skin.

Hi Dan
I have done abit of research on Hep B, on the Net. As I was diagnosed with Hep B at the beginning of March, I have to go for a blood test in Sep to see whether it is acute or chronic. The doctor gave some reason why only I should have the test after six months, but cannot remember what is was. I hope it goes away by the time the test comes around.

Hey Dani,
I was diagnosed with Acute Moderate Hep B on the 22nd of May. My AST level was at 2929 and my ALT was at 3539. I thought I had the flu before I was admitted into the hospital. No appetite, I slept all the time, and nausea. It was until I went to the doctor and he noticed my eyes and skin was yellow when he wanted to draw blood. Well low and behold I have it now. I just saw June 18th and my levels have gone down 10X since May 22nd. AST is now at 307 and ALT is now at 430. He said my body is fighting this off and fast and I should make a full recovery. I go back again this Wednesday for another draw. I can't wait to see the numbers drop more. When I was admitted into the hospital, I was told by all the doctors I saw that I had acute moderate Hep B. It was never chronic in the beginning. I was told by my doctor that theres only a 5% to 20% chance it could get worse and go chronic. Once I show no signs of any Hep B virus in my blood, I'm good to go. I do have an appointment to see the liver doctor I saw at the hospital in August. He wants to see that all is good also.
I just keep being positive that its all going to go away for good. Lots of support from family, friends, and of course my doctor. Stay positive, rest when you need to, and take care of yourself.

Hello,
Yes, you have a 95% chance of clearing the virus. You just need plenty of rest, eat healthy, don't drink alcohol at all. Doing all this you will help your body and immune system to be strong and fight. Hang in there and stay positive.
