I hate giving myself this stupid injection!!!I try so hard to make sure I do it right. This time after I shot the med in I went to remove the needle and it litterly flew out of my skin like it was being forced out. WEIRD??? Then it bled a tiny bit...I wish this was easier. Did I hit a vein? Did I pinch the skin too hard? What can happen if you do do it wrong??How will I know if I did it wrong???Is there something to watch for?

After 6 frigging times you'd think I'd be getting the hang of this!

Help...any feedback would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanking you in advance,
Scaredrabbit

I dont have any trouble.Im not crazy about how hard it is to push..I have done all my shots all over my thighs...I squeeze the chub..you dont even feel the needle going in..the only tricky part is after its in without pushing down harder on the already in needle you have to press this very hard plunger in. " I had this happen to me a few times as well. Take your time and do not make any quick motions with the needle. Injecting into a muscle like your leg helps but I did not like injecting there myself. In time I was forced to because of all the different drugs I had to inject. Another technique is to pull the skin away from the injection site immediately after removing the needle slowly. Do not pinch your skin or pull up but when pulling it use your thumb or finger laid flat against the skin. This helped me to keep the drugs where they needed to be and not come flowing back out. "
