Hi I am Tami ... I have hep c but I guess youll probably figure that one out. I'm not really good at disscussion like in real conversation or in full type like this. I usually am actually really quiet, except for when I found I could type. lol.
no seriously ... I can be quite loud when I belive in something. Anyhow I like the conversations that people can have on here ~cyber space~ I am not sure if I could ever imagine exactally how any one of you feel or think or whatever. But I feel and think and whatever... I used to write what I felt and thought in private and also the old fashioned way, by hand. which I prefere actually, lol at least then I can go back and type it out so hopefully I make more sence. Alot has changed for me since I found out I have hep c .... but I still have a me ..lol. opps hows anyone feel about that? Posted on 05/09/08, 01:05 pm |

Hi Tami welcome to DS..this is a great site for learning about Hep C, making friends, asking questions and sharing feelings. You can start a discussion here any time and or start a journal. You can make your on line journal private to only you or choose to make it available to those you have signed up as friends, or make it open to all. There is a lot of flexibility. You are right some things do change when you have Hep C.. lifestyle and diet changes possibly, doctors appointments, medical decisions, dealing with the physical aspects of the disease...but we are still always ourselves inside. The positive thing is that you found your way to this site, which for me has been a blessing. I was diagnosed in Jan of this year, have had the disease 22 years from a life saving blood transfusion. I started treatment (tx) on Tuesday of this week. This is a great site with a lot of caring and helpful people...welcome!
