Just about to do shot 4 tomorrow. I still have the bruises from shot 1, 2 and 3.
Does any one know how long they last?

" I also had lot's of bruises..
But someone give me advice..of
letting airout b4 injecting..and that stopped my
bruising by 70%. Plus I would enject in different parts of body..like Ab's...legs. "

" I wish I could show you my skin - it looks horrible. I don't have bruises but I have a rash at every injection site and it's been 3 months. I've given myself two injections in my legs and I have large red rashy areas on both legs now and also on my belly - can't stand it!!!! I've never seen anything like this. I can't imagine what I'm going to look like after 48 injections. Ughhhh!!! "

" I have not had any bruises yet. Are you making sure to pinch an inch when injecting? I do have the round red circles that show up mysteriously after 4 or 5 days after the shot. I describe myself as looking like an octopus had it's way with me! You gotta laugh...it is the best medicine. They all fade after awhile, some quicker then others, but this too will pass, and you will get through it. Stay positive and embrace your octopus hickies! "

" I too bruised and had rash like circles around injection site. My Dr. lowered my dose from 180 to 135 and that helped a lot. I still get little bruising and slight redness but not nearly as bad as it was. good luck "

" Thanks for asking this question Faithless...

I too am having a little bruising and some red circles. No pain, itching or rashes or anything else though. Thank goodness!

I like the octopus response that 5star gave! That is cute!!!

But really...from all these responses you got from the one's who have traveled down the road before us I am now at ease! These marks will totally disappear someday. My number 1, 2, 3 and 4 marks are all very visible! But I am going to think of them as stabbing the dragon reminders!!! Every time I look at one I'm going to say..."that is when I stabbed it in the eye, or the back or the neck! (Catch my drift sister!)

Yes…let’s end on a positive note now… Someday those marks will be gone my friend ...Just like the hep c!

All the best
Big big hugs,
Scaredrabbit "
